Nini Berndt is a graduate of the University of Florida's MFA program in Fiction. Her work has recently appeared in The Southampton Review, Subtropics, Adroit, Passages North, Blackbird, and elsewhere. Currently she lives, writes, and raises her young son in Denver, where she works as a diner waitress and short story instructor for the Lighthouse Writer's Workshop. She is presently at work on a novel and a story collection.
